Tata Punch CNG, starting at just Rs 7.10 lakh, was launched today. Each trim of the Punch CNG comes with its own set of optional packages, which are the same as those offered on the regular Punch. However, the top-spec Creative trim does not offer the kit. This is the fourth CNG model in Tata’s lineup, after the Tiago, Tigor, and Altroz.
The Tata Punch CNG is a feature-rich car, with a long list of standard features that include an electric sunroof, six airbags, a twin-cylinder CNG tank, direct start in CNG mode, an auto switch function between fuels, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Its rivals include the Exter CNG.
The Tata Punch CNG is the base CNG variant in the Punch lineup. The Tata Punch CNG is priced at Rs. 7.09 lakh. (ex-showroom, Delhi). The CNG variant powers a 102 hp, 140 Nm engine. It is available in 9 colors and also a manual transmission.
The Tata Punch CNG produces 77 horsepower and 97 Newton-meters of torque in CNG mode. It also features a front armrest, voice-activated electric sunroof, 187mm ground clearance, shark fin antenna, rear USB-C type charging, 210L boot space, spare wheel under the chassis and accomplished dazzle trim level. It also has auto switch, leak detection sensor, single ECU, and other safety features.
