Tata Harrier, Safari facelift fuel efficiency figures revealed

The Tata Harrier and Safari facelift have been revealed to have improved fuel efficiency figures compared to their predecessors. The Harrier facelift now has a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.80kmpl for the manual variant and 14.60kmpl for the automatic variant. The Safari facelift has a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.30kmpl for the manual variant and 14.50kmpl for the automatic variant.

This represents an improvement of up to 0.45kmpl for both the Harrier and Safari facelifts, compared to their predecessors. The improved fuel efficiency is attributed to a number of factors, including engine tuning, aerodynamic improvements and weight reduction.

The Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts are power by the same 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine as their predecessors. However, the engine has been retune to deliver better fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance. The engine still produces 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque.

The Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts also feature a number of aerodynamic improvements, such as a revised front bumper, grille and headlamps. These improvements help to reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency.
