Citroen launched a limited edition (only 100 units!) of their popular C3 Aircross midsize SUV, named after cricket star MS Dhoni.

Although it starts at Rs 11.82 lakh, it comes in various trims, with both five and seven-seat options, and you can choose between a manual or automatic transmission. This special edition features some unique design touches inside and out but keeps the core engine and features of the regular C3 Aircross.

 

 

Moreover, To celebrate the cricketer, the Dhoni Edition gets special touches on the inside. These include new seat covers and comfy cushions that match the color scheme, along with padding for your seatbelts. Stepping inside feels more special thanks to illuminated door sills, and there’s even a dash camera included for added security.

The time begins as Citroen adds to the excitement with a surprise “Dhoni goodie” in every glove box! One lucky owner will even score Dhoni’s signed glove!

 

Apart from the cosmetic tweaks and special Dhoni memorabilia, the Dhoni Edition is identical to the standard C3 Aircross. Under the hood, it retains the same 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine churning out 110 horsepower. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

Dhoni Edition isn’t breaking new ground. Back in 2002, Fiat partnered with legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar for the limited-edition Palio S10. Only 500 were made, each boasting a unique serial number plaque. This special Palio sported cosmetic upgrades inside and out, featuring a special color, Sachin’s autograph, a sportier rear spoiler, and fresh alloy wheels.
