Mitsubishi Motors unveiled its new compact SUV, Mitsubishi XForce Unveiled at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) on August 10th. XForce is Mitsubishi’s first new SUV in a long time, designed for ASEAN.

The XForce is based on the XFC Concept that was first shown at the 2022 GIIAS. It features a rugged and aggressive design with a large grille, muscular fenders and flared wheel arches. The SUV is off-road-ready with raised suspension, AWD, and 222mm ground clearance.

Inside, the XForce is spacious and comfortable, with seating for up to five passengers. A large touchscreen infotainment system dominates the dashboard, along with other features like a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging pad, and panoramic sunroof.

The XForce is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 103 horsepower and 141Nm of torque. The XForce mates with a CVT and is available in 2WD or AWD. Pricing for the XForce has not been announced, but it is expected to be competitive in the ASEAN market.

The XForce will be available in Indonesia in early 2024, and then in other ASEAN countries, the Middle East, and Latin America. XForce is a 1.5L 4-cylinder SUV with 103hp/141Nm, based on the XFC Concept.

The XForce SUV is based on the XFC Concept, but it has a more toned-down exterior and takes some design cues from other Renault-Nissan SUVs. It is 4,390mm long, 1,810mm wide, 1,660mm tall, and has a 2,650mm wheelbase. It also has a ground clearance of 222mm.
