MG Astor Blackstorm Edition Unveiled, Start at Rs 14.48 Lakh.

MG Motor India has launched the MG Astor Blackstorm Edition in India, priced starting at Rs 14.48 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new variant is based on the top-of-the-line Sharp trim and gets a host of cosmetic and feature upgrades.

On the outside, the Astor Blackstorm Edition gets a blacked-out treatment for the grille, alloy wheels, roof rails and also ORVMs. It also gets a new black badging and a Blackstorm sticker on the side.

Inside, the Astor Blackstorm Edition gets red accents on the seats, door trims, and dashboard. It also gets a new black headliner and a Blackstorm welcome message on the instrument cluster.

The Astor Blackstorm Edition is powered by the same 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine that powers the regular Astor. The engine produces 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque and is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Astor Blackstorm Edition comes with a host of features, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera and also a 6-speaker Arkamys sound system.

The Astor Blackstorm Edition is available in three colours: Sterling Silver, Phantom Black and also  White. It is offered with a 5-year/1 lakh km warranty.

Although, The Astor Blackstorm is a stylish and feature-rich SUV that offers a good value for money. It is sure to appeal to those looking for a premium SUV with a dark and stealthy look.

MG Motor India has launched the Astor Blackstorm Edition, priced between Rs 14.48 lakh and also Rs 15.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Basically, The Blackstorm Edition, like the recently launched Gloster Blackstorm, features an all-black exterior and interior.

MG has also given the Astor an all-black makeover, similar to Tata Motors’ Dark Edition, Maruti Suzuki’s Black Editions and Volkswagen’s Deep Black Pearl.

The Edition gets a black exterior paint job, as well as blacked-out alloy wheels, grille, door trims, bumpers, headlamps, and roof rails. The only red accents on the exterior are the brake calipers. It also gets a Blackstorm emblem on the front fenders and a honeycomb grille pattern.

Although, The Astor Blackstorm is powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 110 hp and 144 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission.

The standard Astor, on the other hand, is also available with a more powerful 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine that produces 140 hp and 220 Nm of torque. This engine is only available with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Astor Blackstorm is available in two variants: a manual variant priced at Rs 14.48 lakh and an automatic variant priced at Rs 15.77 lakh.
