Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV India has confirm that the all-electric EQE SUV will be launch in the country on September 15, 2023. The EQE SUV is the third EV in Mercedes-Benz India’s portfolio, following the EQB SUV and the EQS sedan.

It is based on the brand’s EVA (electric vehicle architecture) platform and also has a sedan sibling globally – the EQE sedan.

The EQE SUV is expect offer in a single variant in India, the EQE 500 4Matic. It will be power by a dual-motor setup that produces a combined output of 333 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque.

The SUV has a 90.6kWh battery and a range of 590 km (WLTP).

The EQE SUV will rival the BMW iX and Audi Q8 e-tron in India. It is expect to price in the range of INR 120 crore to INR 150 crore USD 150000 to USD 187000.

The launch of the EQE SUV is a major step forward for Mercedes-Benz India’s electric vehicle strategy. The company has plans to introduce four new EVs in India by March 2024, including the EQS SUV.

Although, Mercedes-Benz will launch its third electric vehicle (EV) in India, the EQE SUV, on September 15. The SUV is based on EVA and has a sedan sibling, EQE.

The Mercedes EQE can travel up to 590 kilometers (WLTP) on a single charge, thanks to its 90.6kWh lithium-ion battery. It is set to rival the BMW iX and Audi Q8 e-tron SUVs.

The Mercedes EQE SUV has a stylish and aerodynamic design that is consistent with other EQ models. It features swooping surfaces, clean lines and EV-specific styling cues such as aero-optimized wheels and a sealed-off grille.
