The Kia Seltos GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S) variants were launch in India on September 16, 2023. They are both equip with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Level 2 features, which include:

- Lane keep assist
- Front collision warning and avoidance assist
- Lane departure warning
- Lane follow assist
- High-beam assist
- Safe exit warning
- Leading vehicle departure alert
The new variants are position between the HTX+ and X-Line models in the Seltos range. The Kia Seltos GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S) variants use the same engines and transmissions as the other variants.
Basically, The Kia Seltos GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S) variants are price from Rs. 19.40 lakh and Rs. 19.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India), respectively. Although, They are expect to help Kia reduce the waiting period for the Seltos, which is currently around 4 months.
Although, The launch of the Kia Seltos GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S) variants is a significant development for the Indian car market, as it makes ADAS features accessible to a wider range of customers. Basically, ADAS features can help to improve road safety by reducing the risk of accidents caused by human error.
The Seltos has been very popular, with over 50,000 bookings received recently. Basically, This has led to a long waiting period of around four months.
One of the main reasons for this is the shortage of components such as the 360-degree camera and the Bose sound system, which are offered in the higher-end trims.
Although, The Kia Seltos GTX+ (S) and X-Line (S) variants will be available with two engine options: a 160hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, or a 115hp, 1.5-liter diesel engine mated to a 6-speed torque converter.
