Jeep Compass Night Eagle swoops in at Rs 25.39 lakh with its marvelous features

Jeep brings back the Night Eagle Compass to India, this time based on the Longitude (O) trim. Starting at Rs 25.39 lakh, it gets a meaner look with blacked-out elements like the grille, roof rails, wheels, and badges. The interior stays dark too, echoing the Black Shark edition’s blacked-out theme and some shared design elements like the wheels. Jeep unveils all-black Compass Night Eagle in India, starting at Rs 25.39 lakh.

Beyond the dark looks, the Night Eagle packs extras like front/rear dashcams, a rear entertainment system, and an air purifier. Standard features also include ambient lighting, premium floor mats, underbody lighting, and a wireless charger. Picking your Night Eagle won’t be a blackout – it comes in black, white, or red, all with a contrasting black roof for a bold look. The Jeep Compass lineup expands with the Night Eagle edition, featuring a striking all-black exterior.

  • Under the hood of the Night Eagle Compass, you’ll find a single engine option – a 2.0-liter diesel putting out 170 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.
  • Powering the Night Eagle is a 2.0-liter diesel engine paired exclusively with front-wheel drive. It comes in two transmission choices: a 6-speed manual or an optional 9-speed automatic.
  • The Jeep Compass starts at Rs 20.49 lakh, competing with SUVs like the MG Hector, Tata Harrier, and Mahindra XUV700. It also rivals slightly more expensive options like the Hyundai Tucson, Volkswagen Taigun, and Citroen C5 Aircross.
  • The Night Eagle edition has a slightly higher price point and aims at similar blacked-out special editions. This includes the Harrier Dark edition, the new Hector Blackstorm, and the top-end Mahindra XUV700 with the Napoli Black paint scheme (AX7 and AX7L variants).
