Hyundai rolls out new Verna SX+ variant at ₹13.79 lakh.
Hyundai has expanded its Verna range with the introduction of a new SX+ variant, priced at ₹13.79 lakh for the manual transmission and ₹15.04 lakh for the IVT option (ex-showroom). Packed with premium features borrowed from the top-tier SX(O) trim, this variant enhances the Verna’s value proposition. Among its highlights are ventilated and heated front seats along with a premium Bose audio system.
Additionally, Hyundai has rolled out a new wired-to-wireless adapter priced at ₹4,500, allowing select models to support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This upgrade isn’t limited to the Verna—it’s also available for the Grand i10 Nios, Exter, Aura, Venue (including N Line), and Alcazar.

The base E trim of the Verna doesn’t feature a touchscreen at all, while the S, SX, SX+, and S(O) Turbo variants come equipped with an 8-inch unit that already supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto out of the box.
Verna SX+ Key Features
Positioned as a feature-rich mid-range offering, the Verna SX+ brings a blend of style and comfort. It comes equipped with LED headlamps, front parking sensors, stylish 16-inch alloy wheels, and a sleek rear spoiler. Borrowing from the premium SX(O) trim, it also gets luxury add-ons like a Bose 8-speaker sound system, ventilated and heated front seats, and leatherette upholstery, enhancing its upmarket feel.

Safety features are comprehensive too, with six airbags (standard across all Hyundai models), ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a rear parking camera.
Engine and Transmission Details
The Verna SX+ is powered by a 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 115 hp and 143.8 N · m of peak torque. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 6-step IVT (automatic) transmission. According to ARAI-certified figures, the IVT variant delivers a fuel efficiency of 19.6 km/l, while the manual version is rated at 18.6 km/l.
