Hyundai has launched the facelifted Hyundai i20 N-Line in India at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The i20 N-Line is a sporty variant of the regular i20 hatchback and it gets some cosmetic upgrades and a few mechanical changes.
On the outside, the i20 N-Line gets a new front grille, redesigned bumpers, and new alloy wheels. It also gets a dual-tone exterior paint scheme, with a red roof and contrasting body color.
On the inside, the i20 N-Line gets a sporty all-black interior with red accents. It also gets a new N-Line steering wheel, gear lever and pedals.
The i20 N-Line is powered by the same 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the regular i20, but it has been tuned to produce 120hp and 172Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed iMT (clutchless manual) or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The i20 N-Line also gets a few mechanical upgrades, such as a stiffer suspension and a more responsive steering wheel.
The i20 N-Line is available in two variants: N6 and N8. The N6 variant is the base variant, and it comes with features such as LED headlights, a touchscreen infotainment system, and 6 airbags. The N8 variant is the top-of-the-line variant and it gets additional features such as a sunroof, a JBL sound system, and wireless charging.
The i20 N-Line is a great option for buyers who are looking for a sporty hatchback with a powerful engine and a fun-to-drive experience. It is also relatively affordable, making it a great value for money proposition.
Hyundai has released prices for the facelifted i20 N-Line in India, shortly after launching the facelifted i20. The sporty hatchback now starts at Rs. 9.99 lakh for the base N6 variant with manual transmission, and Rs. 11.09 lakh for the N6 with 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.
The facelifted i20 N-Line continues to be offer in two trim levels, N6 and N8, just like the pre-facelift model. The top-spec N8 variant costs Rs. 11.21 lakh for the manual and Rs. 12.31 lakh for the automatic.
