BMW India has launched the BMW 2 Series M Performance Edition in India, priced at Rs 46 lakh (ex-showroom). The new edition is based on the 2 Series Gran Coupe and gets a number of cosmetic and performance upgrades over the standard model.
On the outside, the 2 Series M Performance Edition gets a more aggressive bodykit, including a new front bumper with larger air intakes, side skirts and a rear bumper with a diffuser. It also rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and gets M Performance stickers on the sides.
The interior of the 2 Series M Performance Edition gets a black theme with red accents. It also gets M Performance steering wheel, pedals and floor mats.
Under the hood, the 2 Series M Performance Edition is power by a 2.0-liter turbocharge petrol engine that produces 258 horsepower and also 400 Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.3 seconds.
Although, The 2 Series M Performance Edition is a more sporty and stylish version of the 2 Series Gran Coupe. It is aim at buyers who want a car that offers a balance of performance and luxury.
Basically, The new edition will rival the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine and the Audi A3 Sedan.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Performance edition has launch in India at a price of Rs 46 lakh (ex-showroom). This is Rs 50,000 more than the 220i M Sport Pro trim. The M Performance edition is only available with the petrol engine and also be sold in a limit number of units.
The 2 Series M Performance edition is available in Sapphire Black with black and beige interior.
The special edition also features M Performance parts, including the grille, drive selector, badges, and puddle lamps. The inserts in the front bumper, grille and wing mirrors are finish in a contrasting Cerium Grey.
The M Performance edition costs Rs 50,000 more than the 220i M Sport Pro and 220d M Sport trims, and Rs 2.5 lakh more than the 220i M Sport trim.

Lastly, This makes it the most expensive variant of the 2 Series Gran Coupe, which is price between Rs 43.50 lakh and Rs 45.50 lakh. It rivals the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine, which is price at Rs 45.80 lakh.
