MG Cloud EV: Targeting Affordable Electric Mobility
MG Motor India aims to position the Cloud EV as a competitive offering with a sub-Rs 20 lakh price tag, slated for launch during the festive season. This strategic move will place the Cloud between the company’s existing Comet and ZS EV models, directly competing with popular electric SUVs like the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400. To achieve this aggressive pricing, MG will need to significantly localize battery production and other key components.
