Mahindra XUV 3XO (Facelift)

Based on the sources ahead of the official unveiling on April 29th, 2024. Mahindra has dropped the 300 from the name, christening the facelift XUV 3XO.

Engine and Transmission

  • The XUV3XO is likely to retain the engine options from the XUV300:
    • A 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with around 110 horsepower and 200 Nm torque.
    • A 1.5-litre diesel engine with around 115 horsepower and 300 Nm torque.
    • A newer 1.2-liter GDI (direct injection) turbo-petrol engine with potentially more power output than the regular turbo-petrol engine.
  • The biggest change will be introducing a new 6-speed automatic transmission option, likely paired with the 1.2-litre GDI turbo-petrol engine.
  • The existing 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT transmissions are expected to continue with the other engine options.

Dimensions and Design

  • The overall dimensions of the XUV3XO are likely to be similar to the XUV300.
  • The design will see a refresh, possibly featuring:
    • A new grille design inspired by the BE.05 concept car.
    • New LED headlights and taillights.
    • New alloy wheel designs.

Interior

  • The interior is expected to receive a significant upgrade:
    • A larger touchscreen infotainment system (possibly around 10 inches).
    • A digital instrument cluster (possibly optional on higher variants).
    • New upholstery and color schemes.
    • Features like a sunroof, automatic climate control, and connected car technology are also likely.

Safety

  • The XUV3XO might get up to six airbags, along with standard safety features like ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, and traction control.

Alternative point

The official launch will reveal the exact specifications, including confirmed power outputs, fuel efficiency figures, and variant-wise features.

The price is expected to be slightly higher than the XUV300 due to the updates and potentially new features.
