The Toyota Taisor is an upcoming compact SUV expected to launch in India on April 24, 2024. It is based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and is expected to share many of its specifications with that car.

Engine: The Taisor is expected to be offered with two engine options: a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. The 1.2-liter engine will produce 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque, while the 1.0-liter turbo engine will produce 100 PS of power and 148 Nm of torque. Both engines will be available with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or an automatic transmission (either AMT or 6-speed AT depending on the variant).

Dimensions: The exact dimensions of the Taisor have not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be similar in size to the Fronx, which has a length of 3995mm, a width of 1760mm, and a height of 1550mm.

  • Tech Savvy: The Taisor boasts a high-tech interior with a large 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system for easy access to entertainment and information. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay provide seamless smartphone integration.
  • Comfort and Convenience: Enjoy automatic climate control for maintaining the perfect temperature and keyless entry with push-button start for effortless access. Cruise control ensures a relaxed driving experience on long journeys.
  • Safety First: The Taisor prioritizes safety with up to six airbags, ABS with EBD for better braking control, electronic stability program (ESP) to maintain vehicle stability, hill hold assist for preventing backward rolling on inclines, ISOFIX child seat anchors for secure installation, and a 360-degree camera system for a clear view around the vehicle during parking maneuvers.
  • Fuel Efficiency: The fuel efficiency of the Taisor has not been officially revealed yet, but it is expected to be in the range of 20-25 kmpl for the 1.2-liter engine and 18-22 kmpl for the 1.0-liter turbo engine.
  • Price: The Taisor is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom).
