Safety credentials

It elevated its safety credentials with the integration of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines remain availiable with the 6-speed iMT, while speculation surrounds the possible return of the Sonet diesel-manual option.

Furthermore, turbo-petrol and diesel engines comes with the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and 6 – speed torque converter automatic transmission , respectively.

Prices variations

With an expected price increase over the current models of Rs. 7.79 – 14.89 lakh ( ex-showroom) range. Despite this, the Sonet will fiercely compete against the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger in the compact SUV segment.
