Renault’s new Renault Kardian SUV is a small SUV with a diagonal roofline that is sold worldwide. It uses the same stage as other Renault models and is 4.12 meters long.
Renault’s new Kardian SUV is plan for the South American market and will go on sale in Brazil first. It will then be retail in other markets where Renault does not have a small SUV like the Kiger, which it sells in India.
The Kardian will compete with other newly presented small SUVs in South America, such as Fiat’s Pulse. Renault will assemble the Kardian in Brazil and then in Morocco.
Exterior
The Kardian features a elegant exterior design with split headlamps, a double-layer grille with a large Renault logo and a coupe-like roofline.
It also gets solid cladding on the wheel arches and multi-branch alloy wheels. Other key moments include a shark-fin antenna, roof rails and chrome bits.
Interior
The Kardian’s interior appearance alike to the Renault Kiger’s, with the same basic format and features. It has an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a drive mode selector and a four-spoke steering wheel.
The interior trim will vary determined by the variant, with some models acquiring faux cleaned aluminum and wood inserts, while others will have a combine of piano black. Higher-end variants will also get 17-inch alloy wheels.
Engine and Performance
The Kardian will have a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that generates 125 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. It will arrive with an automatic transmission. The SUV is expect to be both quick and fuel-saving.
