The Tata Safari facelift was launched in India on October 17, 2023, at a starting price of Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in four variants: Smart, Pure, Adventure and Accomplished.

The Safari facelift gets a number of cosmetic and feature updates, but the mechanicals remain unchanged. The SUV is power by the same 2.0-liter Krysten diesel engine that produces 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque.

On the inside, the Safari facelift gets a new dashboard layout with a new touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster and steering wheel. The SUV also gets a new set of upholstery and interior trim options.

Safari facelift standard features include 10.25″ touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, 6 airbags and ABS with EBD.

The top-end Accomplished variant also gets additional features such as a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger and a JBL sound system.

The Tata Safari facelift is a good option for those looking for a stylish, feature-rich, and comfortable 7-seater SUV. It competes with the likes of the Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.

Tata Motors has launched the Safari facelift in India, starting at Rs 16.19 lakh for the base-spec Smart MT variant (ex-showroom). The SUV gets a revised exterior and interior, as well as new features, but the mechanicals remain unchanged.

Safari facelift retains 2.0L diesel engine with 170hp and 350Nm torque, mated to 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

The automatic gearbox is only available from the Adventure+ variant onwards. The SUV also gets three terrain response modes (Normal, Rough, and Wet) and three driving modes (Eco, City, and Sport).

The Safari facelift has a similar profile to the Harrier facelift, except for the new alloy wheel design. The taillights are in the same housing, but have a new light signature. The rear bumper has also been redesign with rectangular protrusions for the reflectors and reverse lights.
