Toyota Rumion CNG Bookings Temporarily Paused

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has temporarily halted bookings for the CNG variant of the Toyota Rumion in India due to overwhelming demand. Toyota Rumion CNG bookings halted due to high demand.

This has necessitated them to temporarily halt bookings of the E-CNG option ONLY to avoid customer inconvenience due to a longer waiting period. Bookings for the petrol variants of the Rumion will continue.

It is unclear when TKM will resume bookings for the Rumion CNG. However, the company has said that they are working to increase production capacity to meet the high demand for the MPV.

Here are some possible reasons for the high demand for the Toyota Rumion CNG:

  • Rising fuel prices: CNG is a more affordable fuel than petrol or diesel, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers.
  • Government incentives: The Indian government is offering subsidies to promote the use of CNG vehicles.
  • Environmental benefits: CNG is a cleaner fuel than petrol or diesel, producing fewer emissions.
  • Performance: The Rumion CNG offers good performance and fuel economy, making it a practical choice for everyday use.

The temporary halt on bookings for the Rumion CNG is a sign of the strong customer interest in this MPV. It is likely that Toyota will resume bookings once they are able to increase production capacity and meet the high demand.
