Citroen C3X to Launch in India in 2024.

Citroen India is preparing to launch the Citroen C3X SUV, but its next product, the C3X crossover sedan, is already being test in several places, including India. The latest spy photos taken by our friends at Motor.es confirm that the C3X is also being test in Europe.

The C3X crossover sedan is expect to be around 4.3 meters long and will be power by a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine. It is slat to go on sale in India next year.

The latest spy photos show the C3X crossover sedan being test on Spanish roads. The test mule is heavily camouflag, but the photos reveal a few details about the car’s design.

The C3X will share design elements with the C3 Aircross SUV. The front section, including the hood, fenders and even the front doors, will be identical to the C3 Aircross SUV. However, the rear section will be completely different, with a sloping roofline that gives the vehicle a four-door fastback-like silhouette.

The C3X will rival the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia. It will also be a crossover-coupe sedan with distinctive styling inspired by the C4X and C5X.

The C3X will be Citroen’s third model to be built on the CMP modular platform, after the C3 hatchback and the upcoming C3 Aircross SUV. It will be power by a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine that produces 110 horsepower, mated to a manual transmission. An automatic transmission option is also likely to be available. Citroen will also develop an electric version of the C3X, similar to the eC3 hatchback.
